Corporate and Internal Communications Manager

Role Mission

The person in charge of the role of Corporate and Internal Communications Manager will develop and implement strategies of corporate communications with a specific focus on internal communications as follows:

Key Accountabilities

* Group Intranet portal (Kering 360) – daily activities (in coordination with the existing resource based in Milan) and development of new sections for the Gucci brand in strict coordination with other Gucci’s departments (ie HR Legal CSR Compliance …) and the Kering Communication team
* Kering – being the point of reference for the Kering Communication team in Florence for distributing and spreading Group’s initiatives within the Gucci HQ (and globally)
* Internal communications – define and distribute corporate messages from the “Gucci Internal Communications” and the “Gucci 360” mailboxes while keeping updated the distribution lists in alignment with HR and MIS
* Casellina Tours – planning and managing effectively the visits of Italian and foreign editors to Gucci’s facilities in Firenze (Casellina Monsummano Caldaie): planning in advance with the respectively PR offices aligning with the Supply Chains and Operations’ and Shoe Business Unit’s departments making sure the messages are properly conveyed managing of interpreters and photographers follow up etc.
* Local events – planning and execute local events in Florence (including Christmas Dinner Special Events in the Canteen Projections of videos/documentaries Open Day …) in strict coordination with other corporate departments including HR CSR General Services Security and Finance
* CSR communication – working closely with the Gucci CSR Dept and the corporate agency to develop key messages and identifying the most effective ways of communicating internally (to employees) and externally (to targeted media) and liaise with the Kering CSR Comm team
* Comune di Firenze and local authorities and partners – being the first point of reference in Florence for Comune di Firenze and local authorities and partners
* Being the point of reference for the Corporate Communications in Florence for the HR department and other corporate functions for developing and distributing procedures internal policies;
* WW events – planning and execute specific WW events – ie centralized WW Store Managers Meeting – in strict collaborations with all corporate and regional departments;
* Local press – being the first point of reference for the local (Florentine and Tuscan) press: developing messages cultivate and nurture valuable contacts
* Interviews of the President/CEO and other select spokesperson of the company – developing key corporate messages finalizing select interviews assisting to some of the interviews follow up.

Competenze ed esperienze desiderate
Key Requirements

* Mainly based in Casellina Florence (at least three or four days a week). Milan HQ as second office
* Preferably native Italian with fluency in English
* Excellent command of PC (Office) and the most common social media
* Extreme flexibility in terms of work hours and travels (Italy and abroad)
* Passion for the luxury industry and the communication
* Flexibility and multitask skills
* Accuracy and respect of the deadline
* Global mindset
* Teamwork
* Background: corporate/business possibly on internal communications
